Warranty Policy

This warranty policy outlines the protections and conditions for all authentic MONOVANE products to ensure peak performance and rider safety.

24-Month Limited Warranty

MONOVANE warrants to the original purchaser that products shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase. A valid proof of purchase is strictly required to verify ownership and warranty eligibility.

Warranty Coverage

Subject to proper installation and intended use, this warranty covers:

• Structural carbon fiber defects (e.g., delamination or cracking not resulting from external impact).

• Structural integrity failures attributable to manufacturing anomalies.
  

Warranty Conditions

To maintain warranty eligibility, the following conditions must be met:

• Professional Installation: The product must be installed by a qualified bicycle technician.

• Adherence to Guidelines: Installation must strictly adhere to MONOVANE’s official guide and specified torque values.

• Intended Use: The product must be used solely for its intended purpose: triathlon or time-trial (TT) cycling.

• No Modifications: Any unauthorized modifications (e.g., drilling, sanding, repainting) will void the warranty.
  

Exclusions (Not Covered)

This warranty does not apply to:

• Damage resulting from crashes, falls, accidents, or improper handling.

• Installation errors, over-torquing, or the use of non-recommended lubricants/adhesives.

• Cosmetic wear and tear (scratches, UV fading, or finish degradation) that does not affect structural integrity.

• Misuse in non-intended scenarios (e.g., MTB, BMX, stunt riding, or static display).

• Compatibility issues or structural damage caused by non-MONOVANE-certified accessories.

• Products purchased from unauthorized resellers or in secondhand condition.

• Excluded Components: 3D-printed fairings, foam pads, CNC accessories, computer mounts, and bottle cages.
  

Important Notes

• Non-Transferable: This warranty applies only to the original purchaser.

• No Reset: Repair or replacement does not extend or reset the original warranty period.

• Property Rights: Defective items replaced under warranty become the property of MONOVANE.

• Costs: The customer is responsible for all shipping, labor, and dealer surcharges associated with warranty service.
  

Crash Replacement Program

For damage not covered under warranty, MONOVANE offers a support program for our riders:

• Eligible customers may receive a 15% discount on replacement parts.

• Proof of purchase and detailed damage photos are required for evaluation.

• The discount applies to the component cost only; shipping and labor are excluded.
  

Additional Terms

Product Lifespan & Maintenance All high-performance cycling components have a finite lifespan. Usage, rider weight, and environmental factors influence the rate of fatigue. We recommend regular inspections by a qualified technician for signs of stress, including: visual cracks, unusual wear, or oxidation in aluminum hardware.

Weight Limit MONOVANE products are engineered for riders weighing ≤ 120 kg (265 lbs). Exceeding this weight limit will immediately void all warranties.
